General information

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences welcomes applications from international students for admission to its five-year programme in English leading to the Master of Pharmacy degree (equivalent to M.Sc.).
The Faculty of Pharmacy is the oldest unit at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. It was established in 1919 at the University of Poznan. Today the Faculty is one of the most respected and largest institutions of pharmacy research and teaching in Poland. It comprises 15 chairs and 16 departments and employs over 35 full professors and associate professors, and also about 60 researchers with Ph.D. engaged in the research in almost all fields of modern pharmacy. The Faculty researchers cooperate with a number of partners from the research centers and universities in Europe and North America. This includes joint research projects and visits of research fellows and professors. The Faculty`s important activity is teaching of pharmacy and laboratory medicine on the graduate and postgraduate levels. At present about 730 students study pharmacy and about 150 study laboratory medicine.

Admission

Applications will be considered from candidates who have graduated from high schools and obtained good grades preferably in chemistry, but also in biology and physics. Application forms for Scandinavian candidate can be obtained from the Contact Person in Norway.
